Yoga with Nitya classes are designed for kids ages 3 – 9 and their families. Nitya’s style of teaching incorporates yoga adventures that engages the child’s body, breath and imagination in each pose. Classes runs 30 minutes

This class will combine creative movement with yoga asana. We will go on a yoga adventure combining imaginative play, song, yoga and dance. Parent participation encouraged.

Kids Yoga Dance Party
Come see what happens when funky dog, silly snake, lucky cat, and crunky cow and have a Yoga Dance Party.  Get down and groove a little with the kiddos in this playful yoga experiment for families.  Everyone can bust out one or two dance moves so come dance and play with The Wheelers and Mr Bongos!  This class is for all ages and all levels.

We will practice some big balloon breaths, lions breath, cat and cow poses, along with sound effects, some basic sun salutations and then begin some fun partner poses. Explore the magic of the creek with us!  Will we find frogs?  Tadpoles?  Fish?  After we spend some time wading and walking the creek, we will return to the Rising Sun homebase tent for mermaid art, necklace making, and whimsical face paint.  This workshop will be open to ages 3 – 9 years old.  *Suggested minimum donation of $15.00, maximum of fifteen children. Blue Mountain School Childcare Available

Yoga Jam and kids go hand-in-hand!


With Blue Mountain School childcare in Kidsville, kids can be in skilled, caring hands while parents are free to participate in other parts of the festival. Creating flower fairies, playing with big bubbles, playing games, telling stories, reading books, painting fairy doors and constructing fairy houses…these are just some of the things that kids can do while in the care of BMS staff.

Registering your kids in BMS Childcare is a fun and safe way for your whole family to enjoy the festival.


  • Children 2 to 12 years
  • Children must be potty trained


  • Thursday: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm


  • $10/hour for up to 3 hrs; $8/hour for 6 hours over the course of the whole weekend; $6/hour for vendor, staff, and artist kids
