Yoga Jam and kids go hand-in-hand!

With Blue Mountain School childcare in Kidsville, kids can be in skilled, caring hands while parents are free to participate in other parts of the festival. Creating flower fairies, playing with big bubbles, playing games, telling stories, reading books, painting fairy doors and constructing fairy houses…these are just some of the things that kids can do while in the care of BMS staff.

Registering your kids in BMS Childcare is a fun and safe way for your whole family to enjoy the festival.

Blue Mountain School has been operating as an independent school in Floyd for nearly 35 years. As a Contemplative Progressive school, we are committed to providing a holistic approach to education that nurtures the mind and the heart, the rational and the creative, the physical and the spiritual. Together, the Contemplative and Progressive elements of our model honor the whole child.

Recently approved as candidates for accreditation through the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, BMS staff are honored to offer a program that balances academics with mindfulness practice, Social Emotional Learning, and daily enrichment classes including art, music, yoga and PE, and foreign language.
